Consistent with its ongoing aspiration to be an efficient and profitable business that is in balance with society and the care of the ecosystem, Sitrans began measuring its carbon footprint in 2020.

This laid the foundation for its roadmap, which maintains the focus on reducing its carbon footprint through the incorporation of green technologies and efficiencies in its business processes.

Thus, in 2022 Sitrans developed a mitigation program to increase transportation efficiency, and incorporated 25 electric cranes with lower gas emissions compared to liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) cranes.

In addition, it implemented a pilot plan for the use of returnable packaging material and made progress with clean energy certification, which came into effect in 2023.
