Located in Puerto Octay, a commune in the province of Osorno, Los Lagos Region, the project uses the water resources of the Bonito River Basin. The total estimated generation capacity of the project is 57,396 MWh/year, thus contributing to satisfy the growing demand for electricity in Chile through the use of clean and renewable local resources and avoiding the emission of more than 37,000 tCO2e each year.
