From 2022 Ecocopter is committed to support different projects in Latin America in order to achieve the offsetting of CO2 emissions in aviation operations, improving their efficiency and promoting good practices in energy management. To this end, it manages carbon emissions for each of its services, keeping a permanent record that allows it to offset the emissions generated in its services and neutralize the impacts associated with its flights.
Among its 2022 actions, Ecocopter was the first helicopter company in Chile to join the Clean Flight Program, a national initiative and voluntary participation that seeks to enhance collaboration between various actors, both from the public and private sectors, to promote energy sustainability in commercial aviation, while advancing towards compliance with international industry standards.
Thus, Ecocopter is making progress in its great challenge of achieving sustainability in its operations and advancing in the coming years towards the use of clean, emission-free energy.
