Within the framework of the ISA Intervial 2030 Strategy and the 17 Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations, the company is focused on the creation of Sustainable Value in coherence with its corporate validity, shareholder value and a positive social and environmental impact. This is based on four transversal pillars: Green, Innovation, Development and Articulation.
In line with its Climate Change Mitigation and Adaptation Strategy, the company has focused its efforts on managing its carbon footprint, certifying routes in accordance with the ISO 14,001 environmental standard, and managing waste at toll booths and corporate offices.
With respect to the management of its carbon footprint, the company has resorted to the use of renewable energies certified through I-RECs and offset its direct emissions (Scope 1 and 2) through carbon credits certified by SCX Santiago Climate Exchange. In addition, it finances the structuring and development of forestry projects for the issuance of certified carbon credits.
